When I bought my house there was a huge aboveground pool in the backyard. It was nice but with my hours it was hard to find time to use it. I found out that a pool is a rather expensive toy to have what with all of the chemicals you have to use in it and the electricty the pump takes when you are cleaning it. After the first year I decided to not use it and let the water go down. Well I should have paid more attention to the water level because last year when Hurricane Ike blew through he did a number on my pool. There was no water in it at the time and when Ike was finished half of the wall of the pool was on the ground and the liner was gone. I just let it go and when I finally decided it needed to be fixed or removed the cost of fixing was much greater than the cost of removal. I called 1-800-Got Junk and had them come out. It took them 3 days to get the mess cleaned up but they did a fantastic job. I felt so sorry for those poor guys because there is very little shade where they were working and it was at least 100 everyday. I had bottles of water in the fridge that I took out to them but still is was so nasty HOT. They are a nationwide company. They charge by the truckload and have a range of prices depending on how full the truck is. I would definitely recommed the Houston branch if you have anything that you need removed and you don't have the time or the means to do it yourself.
