Idol Across America Mobile Experience

In celebration of its much-anticipated 10th season, AMERICAN IDOL will launch IDOL ACROSS AMERICA, a biodiesel-fueled mobile experience tour traveling to 16 cities across the U.S. over a four-week period beginning Wednesday, Jan. 19.

During the mobile tour, visitors who are U.S. residents 15 years of age or older will have the opportunity to record their own take on the “This is AMERICAN IDOL…” introduction made famous by Ryan Seacrest and be entered into a nationwide contest for a chance to win a trip to Hollywood to deliver the famous line on the IDOL stage alongside Ryan! See information below for eligibility, complete rules and more information.

As part of the tour, fans will also have the opportunity to participate in the “Be Your Own Idol” singing experience and pose for photos – which they can pick up online and then upload to their favorite social-networking sites – at the IDOL judges’ table alongside life-size standees of host Ryan Seacrest and judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.

In addition to viewing one-of-a-kind AMERICAN IDOL memorabilia – including framed platinum records, Ryan Seacrest’s suit, Carrie Underwood’s finale dress and David Cook’s guitar – and photos, fans can take a trip down memory lane by watching the special “Welcome Home” documentary that showcases all nine past IDOL winners.

CSN Store Giveaway - CLOSED

With over 200 online stores ranging from modern office furniture to cookware to a new bed for Fido CSN Stores has it all. When we were kids we used to get catalogs in the mail and we would spend hours searching for just the right thing to ask for. Now I spend that time online in the CSN stores doing the same thing. There are so many great items that are very reasonably priced it is hard to pick which one to get. I am worse than a kid in a candy store.

Well CSN wants my readers to have a chance to have their day in the "candy store". I have a $15 gift certificate to give one lucky reader.

To win just leave a comment telling me what you would choose from the CSN Stores.

CMT Premieres New Series

Click for more on CMTs Working Class."
CMT(Country Music TV) is going to premier it's first scripted series "Working Class" on Friday January 28 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT.

Through One2One Network I was able to watch a "sneak preview". I think this show is going to be a real winner. It is funny, has great stars and is a show you can let you youngest children watch without being afraid of what they may see or hear.

The new 12 episode, multi-camera series follows Carli Mitchell (Melissa Peterman), a single mom from a rough and tumble background, trying to give her three kids a better life by moving them to an upscale suburb. She quickly finds that making the transition to “the good life” is harder than she thought. She's unwittingly befriended by her cranky neighbor, Hank (Ed Asner), her only “career” prospect is a glorified deli job at the local grocery store, and the man she falls for not only already has a girlfriend – but he’s also her boss, Rob (Patrick Fabian). With her ladies-man brother, Nick (Steve Kazee), to help her out (when he’s not acting like one of the kids himself), Carli faces the challenges of parenting, dating, and making friends in her new community by doing more with less, staying true to herself and approaching each day with a touch of working class.

The complete cast includes:

Melissa Peterman – “Carli Mitchell”

Ed Asner – “Hank Greziak,” Carli’s neighbor.

Steve Kazee – “Nick Garrett,” Carli’s brother.

Patrick Fabian – “Rob Parker,” Carli’s boss and love interest.

Lachlan Buchahan – “Scott Mitchell,” Carli’s eldest son.

Courtney Merritt – “Pam Mitchell,” Carli’s daughter.

Cameron Castaneda – “Will Mitchell,” Carli’s youngest son.

The show also plans to feature multiple guest stars such as Reba, David Faustino, Kathy Kinney, Martin Mull, John Schneider, Ryan Stiles, Lesley Ann Warren and CMT's very own Evan Farmer from CMT Top 20 Countdown throughout the season.

Disclaimer I received a link to preview "Working Class" through my membership in the One@One Network. Other than being entered in a giveaway I received no compensation for my opinion.
