Becky McCraney and Kathy Harrison are sisters who started a one of a kind holiday store called Miss Cayce's Christmas Store. The store is named after their grandmother who inspired them to make memories through traditions, family gatherings and holiday decorating. The retail store has been open for almost 30 years in their hometown of Midland, TX. Customers come from far and wide to see the Halloween, fall and Christmas merchandise from all over the world. There are themed Christmas trees from funky fun to traditional elegant to see. There are also custom floral wreaths, arrangements and decorated garlands to see and purchase.
These two talented ladies along with their sister Jennifer Sharrick inspired by their success with the store started a business called Show Me Decorating so they could share their passion for creating, inspiring and educating others to decorate like a pro.
They started out with a DVD and guidebook and have branched out to an App for your iPad and iPhone
In their words " Their mission is to “save the world” from ugly Christmas trees by supplying know-how and great product from their online shop that mixes with anyone’s own treasures to create magical memories for your family". I received one of the Recipe for Holiday Decorating DVDs to review. I can read how to do something crafty and most of the time do it but this DVD is great. It takes you step by step through decorating a 7 foot tree. Until I watched this DVD I never really realized that there is no reason to be intimidated or afraid to try decorating a tree so it looks like the ones you see in pictures. The DVD comes with a guidebook that follows the DVD exactly. I would highly recommend getting this DVD and giving it a try.
Just a side note Black Friday they will be having a 15% off sale with free shipping. Here is the link to their online store http://showmedecorating.com/ for anyone who wants to take advantage.
Disclaimer: I received a DVD to review. No other compensation was received. These are my opinions your experience may be different.
